 | Tom Robinsons court case wasn't easy for him, especially because he said one thing, which turned into a big mistake. In his statement, Tom said, "I felt sorry for her, she seemed to try more'n the rest of 'em" He said this in front of hundreds of people. Back in the 1930's, there wasn't racial equality.
